Party Crashing - Over the Moon Wedding Shower

My fun and fabulous friend, Ryan, shared some great pictures with me of a wedding shower she helped throw this past weekend. I of course wanted to share them with you all because I think the theme is cute and could work for many occasions. They took "Over the Moon" to the next level and got creative with their decorations:

Ryan made this adorable backdrop out of foam board that she cut out and painted. They pinned stars with special notes for the couple to read - good personal touch.

Fun invitation - as always, I love a framed invitation at the event to tie it back to the theme.

Gifts from The Plaid Giraffe were wrapped in colors to match the festive theme.

The group gift was pieces from their amazing Juliska pottery place setting from The Plaid Giraffe. Plaid Giraffe registry perk - they will come and setup your place setting at your showers to show off the great pieces you registered for.

Wichita staple, there had to be Connie's Cookies at the event - they are so delicious! Plus the shapes of stars, moons and wedding cakes fit perfectly!

They pulled everything together beautifully and from the party pictures, it looks like everyone had a wonderful time. Having a creative theme for a shower or party can add some fun character to the event!
