Living Room Reveal

We got our new couch for our living room and we are in love with the look. It ended up inspiring us to get a new coffee table and move some things around. It was important for us to find a couch that was comfortable, good looking and easy to keep clean (aka, no white!). West Elm's Paidge Sectional fit the criteria and with a killer sale, it fit the budget. We were willing to spend more on a new couch because we wanted to buy one that had timeless quality and style. The couch with the chaise lounge end was chosen, so we could sit multiple people comfortably. I was so excited to find a chaise lounge style that was pretty - it can be hard to do! It arrived a couple weeks ago and in an instant I knew it was our perfect couch.

Rearranging the furniture, we realized the trunk no longer worked in the space. We needed a coffee table that worked with the sectional couch style and I didn't want it to be bulky. Inspired by some of my favorite Pinterest Pins, we decided to go on a hunt for an acrylic table. Well that is easier said than done, but by some kind of miracle, the wonderful local consignment store, Invio, had one. It was perfect for what I wanted and I got an amazing deal on it. Acrylic tables can be crazy (and I mean CRAZY) expensive, so make sure to look into your options. The other one we almost went with is from CB2 - peekaboo table. Clear furniture is great for a classic look, without bulking up your space. It was also a great way to show off the new rug we purchased from RUGS USA.

Alright enough with the blabbing, check out the room! You can see the start to the makeover here.

Check out my makeover of these fun end tables. And yes, those are all my fun birthday cards :)

Mr. Tedders is looking quite comfortable...

Shopping details: couch pillows - dog pillow, green pillows - honeycomb & zigzag  (on sale now, so purchase quick if you like!); couch; rug; gold ruffle trays; coffee table books - young house love & kate spade; club chairs

Hope you love the look as much as we do. I think it really classed up the space and brought a new stylish feel to it. Plus, the best part is that it is comfortable! So much nicer watching a movie having the sectional. The furniture really tied in the wall color and everything seems to mesh really well together.

Check back tomorrow to see the coffee table styling breakdown!

Lots of Love,
