Nursery Sneak: Baby Wren Victoria

In the crazy cold of Minnesota, there is a little spot of sunshine that is Baby Wren's nursery. The bright yellow walls and pops of color bring warmth and comfort. There is a mix of old and new and the room definitely fits the character of Missy and Matt's home. Baby Wren is a new addition to our ever growing family and we were all excited to welcome her to the world! She was born in January and her little face has been warming our hearts since.

This weekend my mom and Aunt Mary went to visit the new little family member and were able to take a few nursery pictures for me to share with you all. My cousins did a great job transforming the yellow guestroom into an adorable little girl's nursery:

Fancy Aunt Nancy had to get the baby some fancy snow boots to face the Minnesota weather!

Right now, while Wren is an itty bitty baby, she sleeps in her little bassinet. When she starts to grow, they will have a crib for the room with some adorable PB Baby sheets.

The colorful and cheery armoire is a special piece to Missy because it was built by her father and painted by her mom. The colors are perfect for a nursery and I love that she was able to incorporate such a great piece!

This fabulous rug is from Cafe Press and works wonderfully in the room! Here is one that is similar, but in a smaller size (I'm sure you could use the custom tool to make a larger area rug).

I can't wait to get up North to see the room in person and meet sweet baby Wren! She looks exactly like her mom and grandma. Hopefully this bright, sunny room warmed up your cold day a little bit!

Nursery Sneak: Peg Board Update

A couple of days ago, I posted pictures of Beau's adorable nursery, and you probably noticed that the peg board was not yet compete. Well I'm happy to tell you all that it is now completed and looks great! Such a fun idea...

They worked with their regular frame shop and had the lady put the wood frame and peg board together. I then pulled a navy ribbon through the hangs on the back and tied it at the top - wanted a cute way to hang it on the wall. Then, they attached the metal baskets with  peg board hooks. I love how they organized them - so cute to put in the useful items and also some cute items to accent!

Thinking Baby Beau is going to have a nice welcome home!

Nursery Sneak: Baby Beau's Whaley Cute Room!

While I was in Florida, I helped Emily put the finishing touches on the adorable nursery. She already had the great main pieces, so we just needed to figure out arrangements, pictures and put it all together. Her color scheme is green, blue and gray. Whales are the main theme, but I love how we incorporated them because I don't think it is too overwhelming. I love to bring in simple touches of a theme!

Glider is comfortable and looks cute in the room - from Wayfair. The rug is from RUGS USA and the colors are perfect!

For easy & affordable artwork in the nursery, I took the cards I got in my Olive Box a couple months ago and framed them!

Love the whale bookends they found at a beach shop and spray painted!

The dresser is adorable and the peg board is a work in progress - had to get Uncle Dan over to help hang it. We added a cute navy ribbon to hang it with and Emily has gray metal baskets to attach - going to hold diapers.

I had to make Baby Beau a silhouette! You can order one from my Etsy shop if you want one for your nursery!

I think the room turned out great and for being in an apartment, not able to paint the walls, the room looks bright and cozy! Now we just have to wait for the big arrival!

Nursery Sneak: Beau's Beachy Nursery

My cousin, Emily, is pregnant with a sweet little baby boy and we are so excited to meet him. Emily and her husband, Femi, decided on the name Beau and I think it will suit him perfectly! He's going to be a little beach bebe and I love it. Since they are from Florida and love the ocean, we decided whales were the way to go for Beau's nursery. Emily feel in love with the colors navy blue and kelly green when she found out the little bebe is a boy. Adorable together and I am excited to share with you our ideas!

My Aunt Mary and Emily have been working on getting the nursery ready: working on curtains, shelves and book ends. I go down to Florida for Emily's baby shower in a few weeks, and I will make sure to get pictures of the nursery coming together! I'm very excited and I think it will be a beach baby's dream!

Nursery Sneak: Baby Lacy Project Updates

A couple months ago, I was in Florida and my Aunt Mary and I started planning Baby Lacy's future room: Project Baby Lacy's Room. Since then, my Aunt Mary has been busy crafting and I have been on the hunt for elephant items that go with our theme.

My friend in Houston, Emily, has the most adorable elephant pillows on her couch. She said that she found them on Etsy, so I had to start searching. I found them and they are perfect!

This patchwork elephant stuffed animal is fabulous and would be perfect for Baby Lacy's room!

I love these sweet little elephant blankets - come in multiple colors.

Now onto Aunt Mary's craftiness! She has put together fun pictures to decorate the walls of the room:

To go with Lacy's new side table, Aunt Mary found elephant gift bags at World Market. She then cut out the elephants and framed them - so fun and creative! I love those gift bags, but never know what to do with them.

I think little Baby Lacy is going to have quite the room by the time we are done with it! Decorating for little kids is always so much fun because you can use fun colors and designs. Can't wait until their house is finished being built and we can start putting the fun items in her room!

Nursery Sneak: Project Baby Lacy's Room

Whenever I come down to Florida, my Aunt Mary & I always need a project. This time around? Baby Lacy's nursery! My cousin Andy and his wife, Sarah, are building a new house, and of course my Aunt Mary wants her granddaughter's room to be fabulous! We went to HomeGoods today to look for patio cushions, but we left with adorable little girl's room decor. They had so much fun stuff, we couldn't resist! The theme is a Moroccan and French look with fun girly colors. See for yourself:

I'm in love with this cute quilt we found at HomeGoods. I googled and also found it at Bed Bath & Beyond in case you can't find it at HomeGoods or TJ Maxx.

We found these "Baby Lit" books on Amazon today and we had to order!  On Amazon, do the "Look Inside" to see how adorable the insides are - love!

I am so excited for them to move into their house this fall and see the room come all together! I will definitely keep you posted as we find things. We need to think through the paint color and I will definitely need to make some fun pictures for her. Little Baby Lacy is going to have a chic and girly space she can love for a long time!

Nursery Sneak: Baby Leni's Digs!

Now that you all have heard how amazing I think Baby Leni is, you need to see the amazing nursery she came  home to! Kelly and Corey did a fabulous job putting it all together and I think it is a baby white paradise. Since they waited to find out the gender of the baby, they went with a neutral color scheme. Once we found out she was a girl, we added some little feminine touches around the room. Pictures speak louder than words, so here you go, enjoy!

The bassinet and bassinet bedding are from Pottery Barn Baby and look amazing!

Changing table is actually a Z Gallerie buffet - great look in the nursery and will be pretty in another room when babies are grown up!

Rocking Chair is from Target believe it or not! They have great rocking chair options at good prices.

Love the personal touch, especially since the Shockers are having an amazing year!

Love cashmere finds at TJ Maxx!

Added a fun photo wall, so she could bring the other kids in Leni's life into the room. Her picture will go in the bottom frame. She also has pictures of her grandparents to watch over her.

Babies need humidifiers, so why not have a cute one!

Love this chandelier from Pottery Barn Kids! She can have that forever because it's simple and classic.

Whitney made this great name art for Leni - she just whipped it up! Love it.

A peak at the fabulous closet of Leni - she has buckets of clothes coming from her fashionable cousins!

They are ordering product bundles from The Honest Company. First order was of course white since they were sure of the gender, but once you know, the designs are so fun, plus it is all organic!

I think they did an incredible job with the nursery and I am excited to get some future hand-me-downs from this collection! Kelly did a great job of investing in long term pieces and finding good deals on pieces that were really baby nursery only. She had a couple splurges, but they were totally worth it! I mean she's so cute, she deserves an amazing nursery...
