Since I love all of my readers so much, I also wanted to give you a special promo code in case your pet or shape isn't one of those on sale at LeLePets. You can use this code on the Love of Character Etsy shop!

Happy sale week! Hope you check out my sale on LeLePets tomorrow and find something you like. I'm very excited for the chance to sell on their website, plus they have other fun sales that you should check out. Thanks again for all of your support and please let me know if you have any questions.

Lots of Love,

Pet Silhouettes

I have a very exciting announcement to make! A fun pet company called LeLePets asked me to make some pet silhouettes for them to have in a sale! Their website is similar to other sample sale websites where they have daily sales that offer fun products at a discount. Their website is focused around people's love for their pets. They have fun sales that include items such as fun collars, pet toys, personalized pet portraits and other unique items from small businesses.

When they e-mailed me about a month ago, I was very excited to work with them and to start making some fun pet silhouettes. I think that my silhouettes are a great and playful way to incorporate your pet into a room. I got busy and made quite a few. I wanted to give you all a sneak peak at some of my favorites before the sale, which is next Wednesday, May 21st. If you see any that match your pet or that you like for fun, this is a great time to buy because you will get them at a discount! Here are 5 out of the 11 that will be for sale:

Check out the sale next Wednesday, May 21st to see the rest of the designs!

Also, remember that you can always custom order one that is of your type of pet with colors/designs that match your style. Check back on the blog next week for a special deal just for my readers!

Etsy Merchandise Sneak Peek

As I promised yesterday, here is a sneak peek at the type of pictures I will be offering in my Etsy shop. There will be ready to order framed pictures, as well as a custom, made to order option. I have different framing options at different price points to fit the different styles people are wanting. I pulled samples from each of the different products I have created thus far:

This is one of my favorites to date because of the pattern and the bunny shape. It is a great classic nursery or little girl's room look.

To accent the gold frame, I picked a fun and vibrant pattern for this picture. Elephants have definitely dominated the nursery market lately, so I needed to make some cute elephant prints.

I added in the butterfly punch out art as something fun and different. I think this type of work can be hung  in nurseries, little girls' rooms and teenager rooms. It is a simple, yet colorful addition to any room theme. Photos via me

I'm very excited about the works I have created and I hope you all are as well. If you have any ideas or desired items, please let me know!  I tried to pick fun prints with colors that compliment. Today, I headed over to Scrap*Funattic in Andover to stock up on some more great paper. I have a few more pictures to make before officially opening the store, but I'm hoping to get it going by this weekend. I will definitely keep you all posted!

Lots of Love,

Exciting Etsy News!

I have exciting news to share with you all today: I have decided to open my very own For the Love of Character Etsy store! After talking with some family members and friends, the decision was made to sell the silhouette and other fun pictures in a cute little shop. I have some made and this week I am going to continue to make more. I want to open up the store with multiple options.

For today, I want to show you my Etsy shop banner - yes, your opinions are GREATLY appreciated! I want to make sure it is cute, fun and full of character!

What do you all think??? I wanted to keep it simple and in line with my blog. I also wanted to have some form of the silhouettes in the banner, so I took a picture of the recent Barbie silhouettes I made. I am currently working on my Etsy profile picture. I want some simple and catchy. We shall see what I come up with.

Tomorrow, I will give you all a sneak peek of the work I have done, so check back! Thanks again for all of your support and encouragement. It really does mean a lot!

Lots of Love,
