We went all out pink with the event and used the adorable door wrapping sheets as inspiration. The door pattern reminded me of the song from Frozen, “Love is an Open Door.” Seemed fitting for Valentine’s! For the place settings, we actually pulled some plates from our Easter collection. The pink gingham went so well with the paper and it gave a cute kitchen/baking feel to the tables. We paired them with die cut heart napkins and heart cups. For the backdrop, we used the gorgeous new backdrop I had local maker, Liv from Liv+Work, create. I love the dyed pink ombré look!
Mini cupcakes worked perfectly because they gave the children multiple to decorate, and if they ate them, at east they were small! Cara, owner of September Moon Cupcakery, made pink and white cupcakes and provided bags of icing. We picked up some fun sprinkles that they could top them off with. Dessert decorating is always a kid favorite!
In addition to the cupcakes, we provided Valentine making supplies. I love setting out all kinds of craft supplies and seeing what children create. They had fun and were able to make cute cards, drawings and scribbles for their loved ones.
It was such a fun morning, and I always love working with Sally! Thank you for providing the aprons and capturing the memories.
Lots of Love,
