Gold & Glam Minnie Mouse 1st Birthday

Sometimes only the most glamorous soiree will suffice for a little lady's First Birthday and this Minnie party is no exception!

The hostess paid attention to every detail, ensuring the party was absolutely perfect, complete with gold sequins, custom favor boxes, personalized details and loads of sparkle!

We love when an invitation provides a sneak peek at the event ahead and the design details on this one from ExclusiveAllure on Etsy accomplished that goal!

The hostess wanted to make a statement so she chose gold, sequin fabric for the backdrop. We flanked the sequins with two balloon garlands in shades of pink and white and tied the look together with gold hearts to represent Minnie's hair bow.

The gorgeous and delicious cakes came from Butter, Beer and Bacon here in Wichita. Little Harlow dug right in!

Can you even get over the mouse-shaped cheese assortment?!

Local Tart crafted cookies to compliment the party's decor and theme, isn't the font just perfect!?

On the tables, Carla decorated with sequin table runners and pink tablecloths. She found her plates, cups and straws on Etsy.

As part of our commitment to help you add character to your parties, home and life, we offer personalized touches that you will not find elsewhere.  Mary created these Minnie favor boxes that we filled with glittery snap clips from local designer, Avery & Grey.

Hopefully you're swooning over this sparkly celebration just as much as we are! We loved helping with this sweet party and hope all of the birthday girl's wishes come true!

Lots of love!

Valentine Cupcake Party with Matilda Jane

We teamed up with Sally Cavanaugh, Wichita Matilda Jane truck keeper, again this year to put together an adorable Valentine party. Last year our little party guests decorated cookies, and this year we decided to decorate cupcakes. Each party guest received a cute MJ apron to wear during the party, and to take home as a party favor. Love a good party favor!

We went all out pink with the event and used the adorable door wrapping sheets as inspiration. The door pattern reminded me of the song from Frozen, “Love is an Open Door.” Seemed fitting for Valentine’s! For the place settings, we actually pulled some plates from our Easter collection. The pink gingham went so well with the paper and it gave a cute kitchen/baking feel to the tables. We paired them with die cut heart napkins and heart cups.  For the backdrop, we used the gorgeous new backdrop I had local maker, Liv from Liv+Work, create. I love the dyed pink ombré look!

Mini cupcakes worked perfectly because they gave the children multiple to decorate, and if they ate them, at east they were small! Cara, owner of September Moon Cupcakery, made pink and white cupcakes and provided bags of icing. We picked up some fun sprinkles that they could top them off with. Dessert decorating is always a kid favorite!

In addition to the cupcakes, we provided Valentine making supplies. I love setting out all kinds of craft supplies and seeing what children create. They had fun and were able to make cute cards, drawings and scribbles for their loved ones.

It was such a fun morning, and I always love working with Sally! Thank you for providing the aprons and capturing the memories.

Lots of Love,
