Trick or Treat!

It was a fun year for us at the Billings' haunted house. We made the paper! Our hard work putting in the ginormous web and spider were so worth it when we saw this. Check out the online article to see other spooky houses around the neighborhood. Definitely put some pressure on though for our party and the trick-or-treaters! Luckily our cousin, Emily, and friends, Sam and Patrick, were in town to help us pull it off. Having a Saturday to setup was also quite fortunate. We had fun and worked in some new decorations with the old this year.

We call him Mr. Jeeves...

At the party, we like to serve our guests boos, treats and eats! These include Dustin's chili, pigs-in-a-blanket, pizza (thanks Patrick!), pumpkin cupcakes (thanks Grandma!) and more. Plus, Dustin makes his potent "Mangria" and we have warm boozy cider.

Loved this saying! Cups from Michael's & napkins from World Market.

Now onto the costumes, and we had some guests with fabulous costumes! My husband's on the other hand, scary.

Sam, Emily, myself and Hailey - aka Gumball Machine, Breakfast at Tiffany's ladies and 80's Prom Date!
Yea...I couldn't bare to look!
Hailey and Jake - Best part, that was her aunt's prom dress in the 80's!
Jacque and her adorable little dragon!
And my favorite costume of the night goes to this cute little shark! This adorable little guy is my cousin Emily's son and the shark costume was perfect for this beach baby:

It was such a fun night and we got more trick-or-treaters than I think we've ever had - over 1000+ for sure. We had to have last minute Halloween candy purchases.

We had lines of cute kids in costumes ready for some candy! Fun sitting out on the stairs and passing out candy.
Thank you to everyone that came out for the evening! We had a great time and we hope you did as well. Halloween is one of our favorite holidays and we love sharing it with everyone!
