Little Princess Party

At the shop last weekend, we celebrated the sweetest little princess, Miss Elizabeth. She had decided that for her 4th birthday, she wanted to go all out princess. Her mother, Emily, came by and Rachel (LOC Event Coordinator) helped her pick from our adorable new princess supplies - so many fun things. She wanted simple, sophisticated, and pretty. Once we pulled everything together, I think her goal was accomplished...

Light pink and gold became the color scheme, and they pulled adorable supplies to use. For the table settings, we mixed gold polka dot plates with shimmery light pink, ruffle plates. Emily had custom napkins made and we topped them off with fancy, gold plastic flatware. In the center, we spread confetti and added some cute paper crowns and castles. The little castles can work as favor boxes or decor, and worked great as an easy princess centerpiece. For the backdrop, we put up paper fans that matched the tables. Paper fans are great for easy impact on a backdrop. I recommend closing them with paper clips, so you can easily pack them back up (instead of using the sticky backing that keeps them open).

The cake was an adorable pink rosette mini masterpiece and we topped it off with one of the glittery, paper crowns. Perfect pop of pink! Food wise, since it was close to lunchtime, Emily served chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-a (a party favorite for kids!), veggie tray, pasta salad and other easy snacks. I decided it would be fun to add a shiny gold "E" crest for the birthday princess above the food table. We then added the glittery crown garland from our new princess collection.

For the activities, Emily had the party guests decorate tiaras and knight hats. She brought lots of fun stickers, markers and glitter glue for them to use. They got very creative! We used some of the castle boxes to hold the markers - perfect for princess craft stations. The next activity was a giant crown pinata that Emily found in an Etsy shop called The Perfect Pinata. Emily filled it to the brim with fun goodies, and each of the party goers took their turn trying to bust it open. When all the goodies spilled out, kids hurried in and filled up their cute party bags.

It was a magical morning and Princess Elizabeth seemed to enjoy her little party! We had fun playing with our new princess supplies and we loved doing the setup. Always fun when you can make little princess's birthday dreams come true. Thank you Emily for hosting with us!

Lots of Love,
