The Makery KC Event: Fireside Bundle

Last month, we hosted The Makery KC at the shop for a Saturday evening workshop. It was so fun! The Makery KC is a Kansas City based company that hosts monthly craft workshops for locals and I was excited when they reached out about making a road trip down here to Wichita. Their workshops in KC usually sell out and they have even hosted a couple in West Elm.

Ashley, one of the owners, traveled down and setup shop in our workshop space. Her decor was adorable and went with the look of the project - love me some buffalo plaid! For the craft, she brought down the supplies needed for attendees to make a tray, mugs and pine cones for their fire pits/backyards. I love that their projects are useful in your home for decor or entertaining.

The attendees started to arrive and found their spots. Some made the trays that said "Welcome to our Firepit, where friends and marshmallows get toasted!" and a couple made trays with their initial. It was great that they gave the two options. Everyone seemed to have fun on their night out with their girlfriends and meeting others! Ashley made the project doable no matter what your craft skill level is and she walked around to answer any questions people may have. Plus, she served homemade treats and sips, key to a fun workshop.

The final projects turned out great! It was fun seeing them all come together.

Sad you missed out? No worries! There is another one coming up the end of this week and it is a perfect one for the holidays: Modern Holiday Himmeli Wreath. The workshop is on Friday December 9th and starts at 6pm - just in time for you to either get off work or for your husband to come home to watch the kids! It will be such a fun evening and this wreath is seriously gorgeous. It has been one of their most loved workshops up in Kansas City and there are only a few tickets left for ours in Wichita, so sign up now! You can purchase your tickets on their website (click here).

Lots of Love,
