Dustin started the new year off with a bang by painting our living room - yay! no more paint test marks on the wall! The new color totally brightens up the room and even though we are not completely done (woodwork, furniture decisions, etc.), it looks ten times better! I am in love with the color. Since the dining room is the same color, the rooms flow into each other well.
Before:
The first thing we did when we moved in was remove the dark curtains - that made a world of difference! Then we wanted to get away from the brown color scheme and bring some light in. The color we ended up going with is called
"Rainwashed" by Sherwin Williams.

The sunroom is off to the side of the living room and we usually keep the french doors open because Teddy likes to lounge in there.

We definitely love our new living room look and hopefully you all do too! The color is a great grayish-blue tone and looks very pretty with our woodwork and style of house. Thank you to Dustin for taking off a couple days of work to accomplish the massive project!
