Earlier this month, we invited our favorite cookie maker, Wendi White, to teach a cookie decorating workshop. She owns Sweet Sugarlicious and she is incredibly talented - like watercolor, hand painted my daughter's birthday cookies (more to come on those soon!). She decided to share some icing tips with a few lucky students.
She opened up the workshop to six students to keep it small and intimate. A small class was perfect for this hands on learning experience. Each work station was setup with the needed supplies to decorate premade sugar cookies. She also added fun Halloween touches, since they were decorating spooky cookies. The sprinkles were my favorite!
I sat back and witnessed the students at work, and I was impressed! Wendi pulled them over to see how she decorated a shape, and then she walked around to give 1:1 guidance. Each person had their own touch on the designs. At the end of the workshop, everyone went home with multiple cookies and a take home bag with extra decorating goodies! Such a fun evening.
